Back Yard Market

The first one!

Despite the terrible weather here in London (hailstorms and pouring rain!),
there was still a great turn out at the Back Yard Market today.

On Brick Lane, just opposite it's sister market
the Sunday (Up)Market in the Old Truman Brewery,
the Back Yard market contains 60+ stalls,
full of jewellery, crafts music, and some great mulled wine!

Puddles and wet feet aside we had a great day,
and can't wait for the next one!

Due to an event at the Truman Brewery next weeks market
3rd December is cancelled,
but we will be back on the 10th and 17th December
with Christmas Eve to be confirmed!

So beat the rush and turn up early on the 10th and pick up some
really great and original Christmas presents!
Just look for the stall with the Christmas Tree and lots of fairy lights
and you've found us!

Back Yard Market, Brick lane E1

Hello everybody!

This Sunday 26th November, The Daisy Dell and Tam-Tam will be starting a four week stint at the

Backyard Market, Brick Lane
London E1

(next door to 93 Feet East)

It is 10-5 every Sunday and has lots of different designers selling clothes, jewellery and crafts, and lots of yummy food and drink! We are selling jewellery, belts and also handmade homeware such as cushion covers, and napkins.

If anyone is free any Sunday from now till the 17th December, please come down and take a look. It's going to be lots of fun, with lots of special Christmassy goodies, and it's slightly less manic than Spittlefields just round the corner.

Love Mel xxx

Thanks

Thanks to everyone at Courtwood School for letting me have a stall there yesterday - the rain cleared to leave a glorious day.

Next event

Next event - 24th June 2006

My next event is a stall at Courtwood School summer fair, this Saturday, 11am-2pm.

Busy, busy weekend

This weekend just gone has been a busy week in terms of my jewellery business. As well as selling through my website and e-bay shop I also like to rent stalls at fairs/fetes and recently started to think about markets. This weekend I not only had a stall at a local school's summer fair, but also shared a stall with one of my friends at the Sunday (Up) indoor market in Brick Lane. This market runs every sunday, 10am - 5pm; it is full of stalls selling everything from clothes to paella, and is definately well worth a visit (click on the link in My Favourite Places to see more info on the market).

Thanks to Lizzie and Georgie for letting me share their stall, and also to everyone at Ranelagh School for allowing me a stall at their summer fair. I had a great weekend.
